Revlon claim that this shadow will stay on for 16 hours which is a pretty big claim for a powder shadow. I haven't worn this for a full 16 hours but I've worn it for probably around 12 hours and not had a hint of a crease, smudge or fade so it seems to live up to it's claims.
The palette below is called 'Decadent' and features a light pink/nude, warm pink, gold and a chocolate/bronze colour. All of the colours have a slight shimmer to them but none of them are glittery or overly shimmery. The dark brown colour is slightly more matte than the others which makes it great for contouring and adding depth.
Revlon ColorStay 16 hour Eye Quad in Decadent |
The colours in this quad go really well together on the eye, but also look great if you just want to wear one colour on the whole lid.
I used an eyeshadow blending brush (Mac 217 is perfect) for the whole lid and a shader brush (Mac 239) for the crease of the eyelid to build a more intense colour.

The colour is quite sheer at first but they are easy to build up and the pigment is quite good.
This palette can easily take you from day to night, not only because the colours are easy to layer but also because the staying power means you only need to add a little extra before you go out.
Step-by-step guide on reverse! |
The other thing I love about this product is that it features a step-by-step image on the back of the palette showing you where to place each shade for the best effect - this is great for eyeshadow novices or if you are just curious about where each colour would look best.
There are 14 palettes to choose from and they cost £7.99 each from Boots here. Revlon is actually on 3 for 2 at the moment so you can get a few to try!
